I bought a black chassis for my BAJA and loved it so much I thought I'd get the purple stripped and done black for my second BAJA. I decided to do the main section, top bulkhead brace and the engine mounting plate. Anyway the anodizer acid dipped the chassis to strip the purple and DESTROYED the self clinching nuts fixed in the front of the chassis (4 of at 5 mm) and the ones in the engine mounting plate (4 of at 6 mm). Can I get these directly from HPI??? I've tried a heap of locally suppiers but no one has anything close. I bought a new rear chassis plate to get me going again but would like to get the black parts sorted. Please help.....:(
