Cool Marder Gp290 and an X-Can

This vid is to show the Marder with a Cy Gp290 with the stock clutch spring installed. Right now the Zenoah clutch (stock clutch for the FG MT) is installed. This clutch allows the motor to rev higher than the CY clutch shoes. I had no idea the shoes would make a difference but they do. Listen to the difference in the RPM of the clutch before it engages. It was recorded in 720p @60fps just for you guys... It took me 2 hours to upload this 2 minute vid.

Here is the same car but with a CY 23cc and a CY clutch. I know the motors and chassis' are different but the X-Can remains the same and the throttle servos are about the same speed. Both rated at .15/60 degrees @6v. Perhaps the motors may have a difference, but I wouldn't think it's that much of a difference. I am just talking about clutch engagement here.

I apologize ahead of time for all the tuning annotations, if they bother you, turn them off by clicking the caption bubble at the bottom of the vid next to the 360/480 button. I made this vid for some guys that were having trouble diagnosing the sounds of rich vs lean.

As you can see/hear the Gp290 does have a bit more punch and it sounds a little deeper.

I also got the layshaft gear/ring gear cracking problem taken care of.

The next vid will show the Marder with the Nutech 8K spring installed. I did it this way because I couldn't find a side by side comparison vid.
