Brooklyn Large Scale Drag Racing Club presents " The Survivor Challenge "


You think you have what it takes to be a winner? Then stop talking and drive your car.
Come out this Sunday May 20th 2012 and see if you have what it takes to be a winner.


This is Bracket style racing, each racer will be required to qualify for a slot in the event.
After qualifying, racers will be paired up based on there ET's and the first round of racing will begin.
Each match up will be a best of 3 elimination race..


Once the first round of racing is complete, the winning cars will again be paired up for yet another round of brutal drag racing, this will continue until we have two racers left to battle it out in the final round and be crowned " The King of the Survivor Challenge ".

I've have a few runs with the setup and not sure if I should get more runtime.
As mentioned I'm using 4S 5000mah 50C 14.8V packs.
A seperate RX battery for the servos,fans and RX
100% punch control
75% forward
25% brake amount
0% drag Brake

and I can only get 10 minnutes of runtime!!! What am I missing?? I've done 2 runs with it and it's the 3rd time I've charged the cells, each time I make sure the balancing leads are also connected.

WE START MOVING DIRT THIS WEEK FOR THE ALL NEW GLEN HELEN RC RACEWAY!!!!!!!!

We hope to be open by the end of the month. Our plans are for a 1/5 Scale Off Road and a separate all scales Oval. Another track will be designed for 1/8 Scale Nitro and 1/8 Scale Electric. This track will also accommodate the popular 4WD Short Course Trucks with Brushless Motors and Lipo Batteries.

RIGHT NOW WE NEED HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATORS WHO ARE IN POSITION TO DONATE THEIR TIME. WE HAVE THE EQUIPMENT AT THE TRACK.

WE ALSO NEED BIG WATER TANKS HOPEFULLY SOMEONE WILL BE ABLE TO LEND TO US ON A TEMPORAY BASIS.

IF YOU ARE IN THE GRAPHICS BUSINESS we could use at least one 4x8 banner to hang at the track announcing the opening.

We are going to need other help for this huge project in order get it off the ground quickly. Please keep these things in mind so we can have them lined up when we are ready to move forward. Items and help needed: Banners, shirts, flyers, fencing, 25kw generator, fire hose 1 ½ inch, fuel (gas and diesel). If you can or know someone that can donate or provide at cost some of these items it would be greatly appreciated. Of course we will need some shovel and rake work. Various levels of sponsorship are available for both personal and companies.
