2 FG Sportsline On-Road for sale RTR Frank Killam painted $2800.00 OBO SOCAL

Hello, I have 2 FG Sportsline Chassis up for sale. I purchased both from VS Modelsport a year ago and only ran one of the chassis up in the air to break in the motor for about 20 minutes. The second chassis has not even been run at all. Both vehicles come with servos and are ready to run. Both chassis have shells painted by Frank Killam. One is a Mercedes Benz C-Class DTM Shell and the other is a Audi A4 DTM Shell. Both are in mint condition with decals applied like those shown in the catalogue. Both vehicles will come with Batteries and charger along with steering/throttle servos. In addition, both vehicles are programmed into a Futaba Magnum 3PK Super Radio system which is included with the sale. Vehicles were all wired by Mario at Speed Shop Hobbies using Hitec HS-7955TG servos for the throttle and brakes. Steering is controlled by a Hitec HS-5745MG on both vehicles. Vehicles come with stock pipe and adjustable ride height coilovers. These vehicles are ready to run and have never touched the ground. One vehicle is brand new never run and the other only had 20 minutes of run time to break in the engine. Unfortunately, I have found a new interest and since these cars are sitting and not being used I would rather have someone get some use out of them. If interested please email me and I will send you detailed photos. I am selling both vehicles with servos and radio gear attached along with receiver for 2800.00 OBO. I am taking a huge loss on these vehicles. Great for someone looking to get into the sport. I do not want to ship these items due to size and weight and am looking for local pick up in socal. If someone decides to purchase at 2800.00 I will even throw in the display case I had for these 2 vehicles. It is a 4 level case which could acommadate 4 FG cars. It was purchased at Plummers a year ago as well and would be perfect for displaying and storing the vehicles. The display shelf was 650.00 dollars and can be seen in the background which is what the cars are sitting on in the pics. Thank you.

Hey guys, My name is Jason and I am a Machinist/CNC Operator from North Bay, ON. And I just picked up a new baja 1000.

Its going to be running a OBR Machined and Race Ported Zenoah 4 Bolt 30.5with 2mm Stuffed Crank,and a Jet Pro V3 pipe.

opinions needed on a diff

i had bought a technokit locking diff on ebay, turns out it had all worn out fg guts and no self locking mechanism. i put the best stuff i had in it, now after a few months i destroyed it, i think the only salvageable parts are the bearings. ive got a few options, the first would be to rebuild the duratrax aluminum diff i have, although the carrier is in pretty tough shape. it needs new side and spider gears just to get it going. however at this point im thinking i may just be better off buying a whole new diff, im just not sure on what one.

so as much as id like a power locking diff i just cant justify that sort of money. one of the sites i order from has both the 2 fold and 4 fold self locking diffs on sale. now i see there is also the aluminum adjustable diff, and the viscous locking diff. i know there is also several other differentials out there as well (carson, lauterbacher, technokit, oddified).

my problem right now is im just not sure what to go with. i run a parking lot track, its not the cleanest, and im not very a experienced 1/5 scale driver (been racing 1/10 nitro touring for 10 years). so what would you guys recommend? id like to say money is no object, however when the diff went it took out my outdrives, so now is the time to upgrade to balldrive axle set, so the budget is getting eaten up in a hurry.

The upgrades to my Nutech TB2 continue....

So after the running last weekend to test out the Dual steering servos on my Nutech TB2, I decided to do a few more things to it.....

I got ahold of Scott at Vancouver Hobbies and ordered up a couple of the aluminmum diff cases, a set of Vertigo Performance sealed bearings, and a HPI wheel adapter set.

I own Redcat Rampage TT, well I used to. Anyway atm I am working on redcat dunerunner petroc2brushless conversion. So yea.

I got hooked on hobby rated rc cars in the beginning of this spring, and went from 12th scale on-road traxxas to 5th scale redcat rampage.

New engine break in?

so, hanging at the park, getting a few things ready, and a tiny little neon rolls on in. hmmm, could it be? sure enough, out jumps Mike, after 2 years of pestering, he's finally come back to play at our track. anywho, cruising along, having a bast, my prototype brakes prove to be too good, and my T is out for the count. however, that doesn't mean the fun has to end, i break out the plane, slap a small vidcam on it and go cruising for action. the footage ain't the best, i just broke my preferred prop, and the cam and counter weight made the rig a bit more unstable, but there are a few decent clips.

Scott ventured over to this side of the water today and came ran with us. He also brought over a bunch of goodies for me. I now have 2 Nutechs and 2 Redcats because I get to deal with him for my parts and such.

Loving this new Redcat brushless 8th scale buggy. It's going to rain a couple days this week so I get to tinker on a few things. Rally will finally get a strip down, TB2 gets some new bling. The Semi is actually a Nutech. I have gotten the tires down to the threads showing.. but all it ever needs is to tighten a bolt or nut now and then.

Got to burn fuel, have fun, hang out, bring home a new rc and a box of parts. Cold beer at home when I got here and get a message from the guy I bought the van off. He is knocking 250 off for all the cleaning I have done (basically paid for the redcat brushless :D )

Hurrax Pyrad Build

Well I decided to pick up a Hurrax Pyrad with a little nudging from Mradlin and Moo, I have to say though it didn't take much nudging.;) Here are few pics to start with and as you can see I it comes assembled so I needed to do a strip down so I can enjoy the build process. I don't know about you guys but I prefer kits, building it is half the fun for me.
