We were out today testing our new brake set up and it worked great..
In the next few weeks we should have more details, all we can say now is if contact patch is what you want then contact patch is what you will get.

This is one of those "why didn't I think of that" moments.. :D Simple, beautiful and people can use most of their existing parts. And the price is reasonable. Nice.

Yes it is one of those moments, so simple we overlooked it,
Dumb Canadian I should be :b:ned

Ok How do you install them?I recieved my 3 pads today in the mail but no instructions.....please help me....

Ok. I'll take a try at this...remove pads, disks and purple spacer between disks. When installing don't use the center purple piece. The two disks float inbetween the pads. It'll look like this when done.

Sorry, preproduction brakes are shipped as is and I try to email the new owners instructions.

Remove stock brake including discs, spacer and steel plates.
Reinstall discs only
Then on the Caliper install 2 shims, 3 pads and the opposite brake caliper.
Slip in over the discs and check for adjustment, you may need more or less shims.

So do you still make the Billet brake pshoes/pad or whatever that are called these days:D I think that would be the icing on the cake for this mod. don't ya think?

Vertigo Performance
06-29-2007, 02:23 AM
In order to make billet brake shoes we would need to mill away almost half the braking material.

Billet brake shoes, nearly half the braking surface as stock
3 Pad system = Double the braking surface

True the servo will make a difference but if you compare a billet pad with a 3 shoe system there is 4 times the braking surface using a 3 shoe.

Yes we still make the Caliper.. There is another company who makes them out of bar stock non anodized for about $5 cheaper if you want to save some money, looks like an unfinished version of ours.
