After taking the buggies out last week for a good thrashing where I did some really dumb things and broke the most unusual part I came back with straight shock shafts and rear tires that are good for another day.

The sand pit we were in had areas of sharp rock, gravel piles that were almost as if they were frozen they were so hard, soft pea gravel and Masonry sand..

2 hours and here is what my rear rims looked like and my rear tires were in perfect condition. HPI's new beadlocks are an awesome upgrade at a worthwhile price..

These look like what the doctor ordered. I was wondering if I were to dye the silver ones purple, would they turn out ok? Or perhaps I could use blue dye with the red rings to achieve the purple color. What are your thoughts?

I dyed my silver ones with purple Rit dye. They turned out matching almost perfectly and have held up extremely well. Not too sure about using blue on the red beadlocks to make purple.....
