Thanks Clayton for the parts, and Vancouver Hobbies for the 5T and the extra bling, here it is almost done.

I have some Modified quick discoinnect tubes coming and a Turtle rear shock tower.

I was going to go out bashing today, but it is raining!

Your 5T is looking great! Have you driven it yet? :excited:Yes I did, very plush. I installed that 4 bolt DS engine, to find it impossible to tune, I started checking things over to find the fan shroud cracked!
So I removed that engine and installed a 28.5cc BB kit onto the stock case and crank. Copper base gasket, runs real good. I am impressed, the only thing I have to sort of compare it to is my FG, and it is totally different than that.

I also find that my FG is a different animal than my baja too. :yahoo: That's what makes it fun. LOL

Nope, I like them all.

There are 2 of on ~~~ posted up yesterday, pm's sent to Ted, still no reply. Prety crappy for a 500usd motor! I want some :damn: customer support!

I guarantee I won't be buying another DS product again.

He should start it this week. I agree, he sure is very helpfull. I had a hard time deciding between a HPI shell and a Proline body. I decided on the HPI body.

yea,the hpi bod is nice.. no worries,your in good hands. post pics when you get it.

I will for sure, I prefer the look of the HPI body the rounded body compared to the sqareish Proline Trofeo.

Can't wait to see it with the custom painted shell. I have 5t fever now ! I'm going to need an R/C full sized Garage.
