I saw the clutch bell carrier but excuse my newbie-ish question, but how does this part improve the performance on my Baja? Thank you.

The stock one as we discovered can melt and flex.
In our case the bearing partially seized (Still rotated but with resistance)
The bearing seat melted, offsetting the bell and prematurely wore the shoes.
We had the Ali Carrier out yesterday in the sand for 2 hours.
Temped it out at 106 degrees Fahrenheit which means it is pulling heat from the engine which is good.
When checking the clutch last night it was noted that little to no wear on the clutch because the rigidity of the carrier keeps the bell straight at all times.
We are hoping with more testing to find stock clutches will last longer than they do with stock carrier.

The last outing I mic'd the XRC onroad clutch installed backwards at 5.18mm
Yesteday I went out and burned a complete tank (about 45 minutes) in a sand pit.. When I got the clutch out and Mic'd it, it was sitting at 4.90mm
The last time we went out with a Zen clutch and the stock carrier the clutch was shot in about 20 minutes..
