Do you have an area for Bajas to kick around?

Dang, why does it have to be all the way up in Washington State? That's a long drive and none of my 1/5th scales are exactly carry-on luggage. Does any one ever ship their stuff? What's the weather like in August? Is it humid? Oh well, if I go, at least I can probably make a side trip to Vancouver, BC. Now that's a happinin' place. Washington is boring, good for apples and coffee only. LOL

That would be a long drive for me, I'm not sure my personal mobility scooter would make the trip from Ventura Cal!! :O)

Vancouver Washington where the race is at is only a few minutes from the Washington/Oregon border, just on the North Side of the Columbia River.

We use to drive from Victoria BC to Portland Oregon for weekends but with the border waits now the time would really add up.

We are hoping to make this race but we wont know until July whether we can make it or not.

NATC Round 6

Location: SV Speedway

Class: STC

Car: MMR RS5

Radio: Nomadio react

Result: 3rd B main

Ok thats the booring part. This was a fantastic race weekend for me! Well let me tell you why....
#1 I rented my own pit space at SV (used to be Eric Poholsky's pad) I have a place to store my cars and have air conditioned comfort as I work on my ride
#2 Got my new body on the car its NOT a HONDA! LOL Thanks team mate Eric P once more!!
#3 Had a "motor" go south in the first round but finished the heat.
#4 Round two motor back to life car needed a new set up for the layout. BOY was this layout a HOOT! No place to pass so everyone bashed hehehehehehe
#5 Main was a battle one guy kept putting me on my lid once did a perfect "roll" body never touched the pavment it was a hoot. Came in 3rd

Did I mention the RS5 is IMHO the best 1:5 scale out there?

Nomadio React is the weapon of choice for 1:5 scale racing!

I'm going to post some pictures in the forums later, the car did well it took about a week of practice on the track to get it to top out without sliding away. The fokes at TZR really helped me out and all the tips i got from the pits were great!

The bald guy was pushing so hard he traction rolled on more than one occasion and the 4 stroke bike pulled some VERY cool wheelies. We are hoping to get copies of the video I took and post them soon.

We weren't in that photo.
The only 2 photos I can find of us is a video of a race where we are in the back ground in chairs then another photo on another forum (that I can't remember the name of) there is a photo of my back with my team 007 shirt on and Akela the 6'6" guy standing beside me.
I was standing beside Akela while he took those photos.
