View Full Version : Throttle Servo problem
I had a problem with my throttle servo from my Carson Gas Devil. That cost me lately my gasdevilbody. Went to pieces. The problem was that the throttle didn't react and stayed for a few seconds uncontroled at full speed. Firts thing that came up to me was that it could be a battery connection. But the problem continues. Then I found tat the should be something wrong in the servo. Bingo! See attached pic. The earth connection from the servomotor and the capacitors was hanging in there and made from time tot time a bad connection.:mad: My supplier told me to buy a new servo but these big servos cost a lot of money, so guy's save money an open it! Solve the problem an learn.:D:D

I'm glad you found the problem. Thanks for the heads up on this issue too. What servo is that? It didn't break your new yellow body did it?

The servo is the original one from Carson. It looks like the Carson Mega Evo-servo Pro nr: 502012. Thats the new version. Hell no it has not the new beetle body on it yet because i have to paint the wing on the back. I was just testing because there was somekind of a clitch that wouldn't make any sense to me. I was glad that the loose wire showed up.

Not yet but i have found one at rc-car-online.de that looks good. part number from these german guys is Y1147.
The price looks reasonable 39.90 euro. Going to buy that one i think.
