I have been hearing some rumors about a two speed under development. Wouldn't it be nice to have a 2-speed? I am starting to salivate just thinking about it.:D

A 2 sped w/ reverse would be better. Anything w/ reverse would be better.

I come from a racing background so reverse was never an option. Either was a 2nd gear for that matter. It's just that the Baja wants to go faster and is being limited, IMO, by havng only one speed.

I always believed that having a reverse added too much weight. I guess in traditional nitro r/c, that would indeed be the case but weight savings is not so detrimental on a Baja so in retrospect, reverse wouldn't be so bad.

It is already out there it's called FG:p Hasn't anyone tried using a Fg clutch bell on the BAJA and FG gears? What If I took a BAJA clutch and Put it on a firehammer along with a BAJA pinion and spur setup:eek: . and then swapped the Firehammer clutch bell and pinion and spur and put it on the baja... that would mean, I could run a FG 2speed trans on a BAJA correct???:eek: :eek: and here everyone has been waiting for almost a year for this?:b:

This is just reverse. I don't have video of the CVT yet. Though it does work. My motor doesn't have the torque for the high end speed. I will be putting in a head kit this week to get the torque I need for high speed.
