hello all, i was just thinking what is the best performing car i can use on a modded cy26 engine???

see im used to boat engines and use the walbro 257 carbs. now that carb does not come with chock nor primer bulb.

i think i read that the walbro 813 carb is the best is this true?? also does anybody no what carb is used on the baja 26 fuely engine??

I like running the 813 carb on all my baja's. I have been finding though that the shaft is wearing out where it meets the carb. Somebody told me once to ensure that a open hole that runs beside the shaft needs to be filled. There is a post of it somewhere on what to do. I will look for it.

I also have the 813 carb on my my baj and I love just to pumps of the primer bulb and pull the trigger 1 time and it always fires up within 2-3 pulls ......

i recomend the Walbro WT 771. itīs the same Carb as the 813 but without the acceleration pump. the 813 carb i great on the new 4 bolted blocks and on engines larger than 29 cc.

i have tried a wt813 on a 27,2 reed ported Oīneill motor it worked good from standstill but the engine lost it on high revs. i then switched to a light modded wt668 carb and that worked way better. a little less ripp from standstill but thats something you can live with since the car got faster off the line vbut it started to scream on high revs.
removing the chocke on the wt668 card works great.
just tread the hole for the axel and se som 5 mm grubscrewsand som loctite to plugg the holes.

this ittle modd gives you stock engine a new life.

it looks like the stock cy26rc engine comes with a wt 668 carb.

hello all, sorry i have not posted but iv been bed ridden and now i have a tooth thats coming in the wrong way and I'm having a hard time seeing and hearing so i been in PAIN:(:(. OK enough about me....

before i got sick i did run the buggy with the modded carb and i can say i see the difference. it has more power everywhere. and its still ez to start because the primer bulb is still there but it does not need a choke.

and would love to say i love the pico switch i modded and i also put a remote led that i put on the engine cover near the plug so i can see it.

thanks guys.:)
