ONE NEW TEAM BLUEGROOVE BAJA UNDERTRAY/SIDE PROTECTOR SYSTEM . this aution includes one undertray clear, [unpainted ,untrimmed] for the hpi baja. this undertray completly covers the exposed baja chassis bottom and sides and gives the body a complete look as seen in pic of orange baja. as well it keeps the inside of the chassis clean and protected from scratches[this is perfect for those with a polished chassis]. The under tray can be painted to match your exsisting body. This undertray can be held on with exsisting chassis screws the four on the bottom rear section , it can also be tucked under the bottom plastic covers in the front and rear on the bottom of the chassis. The top edge of the undertray sides can be held on with the 4 upper screws[near radio box mounts] on top of the chassis by using the extra untrimmed lexan connected to this undertray or can be velcro'd to the inside of the upper main body by using the same extra untrimmed lexan. many other mounting options possible ie double sided tape , velcro ect...
baja and chassis not included in this auction

not too long.. I'am thinking of putting it on Amys car now and not even wasting my time trying to fit it up for my car.. darn it I had a special theme I was going to use on it :horse:

You guys like how that looks ?...I like to see the chassis. I know some complain about dirt in the side pod area Im having good luck with the front and rear of the side pods opend-up,remove the plate in the front and make a hole in the rear /bottom of the side pods...just let the dirt flow out.works nice

I asked them why the plastic is so thin and not .40 like it is stated in the auction.. this is their reply back..
When forming lexan the material is heated and stretched around a mold so when an item is made using this process it is impossible to have the same thickness throughout the form it starts at .040 but your right it does thin in places and about this nothing can be done. after the undertray is screwed to chassis it will accomplish its purpose and the parts that are thin are trimmed away during mounting process. If you don t want the item you can return it to us for a full refund thanks TBG
so I have the option to send it back, which is going to cost me more then the original shipping to begin with:(..I just will not by it again.. buyers beware with this product it is SUPER thin...:):) and not ..040 thick like they say...

A full refund ....I think thats very fair. and keeps everything from blowing up.
For $40 i like it,but it is thin.
I dont know how it held up as i only painted one.
I like to see the chrome frame the best.

so im guessing even the thin one ya have now is still light,,like an blank ss body..
so if they know it thins out during the molding,,then why not use a thicker material to start out with and end up close to .40?
thats what they should do.

here it is mounted up on Amy's car...(note there is NO protective film on this either) so if you want to paint it you have to mask off the whole outside of it:rolleyes:..there are some spot that are so thin(right behind the pods) that it was already starting to tare:(
