Hello Everyone.
What is the best waterbased paint to learn with as a beginner? I hear createx and faskolor are waterbased.
I know alot of people used Faskolor, But is it cheaper than Createx and is it better for truck/car bodies on RC's?
Any help will be great!:)

I like faskolor, but have never used createx before. There is also pactra paint, a little more money up here but seems to go on a little nicer, but have had to thin it a few times.

Victory,
I've purchased a airbrush and going to start practicing with it. What air pressures do you run when using createx paints?
I'm going to use food color for piant so I can save money.:)

Depends on the size of the line you want to make ...high detail / smaller will use lower pressure.

Victory, I'm going to start with the Createx like you said but can't find the 3 bottles for 20.00 on that site.

Heres the link. http://www.dixieart.com/Createx_Main_Page.html
Depending on the type of paint its about $4 for 4 oz.
The 4 oz bottles have alot of paint...its a nice size bottle
And if i remember correctly they charge a flat fee for shipping of $10.
Heres a nice vid on learning airbrush

You should be good with all the createx paints....The createx is water base and takes longer to bite into the clear lexan bods...but it does.If you heat it it will stick better. set it in the sun.
If you do a shirt use a iron.
