hello everyone,
Gear meshing on fg stadium, How do you mesh the gears to take out the spacing? reason for question is my 18 tooth pinion gear is spreading the metal outwards and gear teeth are getting pointed. Don't know if they were replace as a set. 46 spur.
Charging battery I have a duratrax peak charger- Do I charge at peak every time or do I do slow charge? Does the status light go from blinking red to green when fully charged?
Stock gearing of stadium and monster trucks?

With fg's you cant adjust the gear spacing , is there any flares on your metal spur gear causing the pinion ? possibly a cheaper metal pinion is failing ? but the Cat5 pinion to match your cat 5 spur , also if your budget allows buy the gear carrier Alloy one and replace the bearings . so you are running the 18 pinion with the 46 spur ? if so like said replace with the Cat5 pinion
Thats my input .

I do have a alloy gear carrier and it is a 18/46 setup. I know when I brought it the guy said he just changed the plastic 48 to a steel 46. Pinion may be softer or was the one for the plastic gear?

No. I was just fooling around with the smilies. ;) Your FG looks really good. Do you have many issues with it? I have heard lots of good things about the FG.

Ok found what you are talking about. Totally I would have to pay about 150 to upgrade to that because you have to get two other parts when using that alloy gear plate. Right now that is good I would rather put money into upgrading the rear A arms to get the flex out of the rear. Any Ideas on the cheapest way to go on this.
To answer Mike I love this truck and there are no major problems with it just things that I'm trying to understand and learn about. First 1/5th scale and Loving it. I know I'd have to put more money into it to make it better (But wife doesn't)
