Thats right #2 is going to be started I now have a chassis, it is already powdered gold metallic and "AMY" (my wife) said it looks cool so this one will be hers.....so stay tuned to this channel for updates....This one will not be outrageous as the first one....:eek:

Nope not yet...I've been busy working on the house...I'am hoping to get back @ it this week again..:)

and the little plastic pc's too hold the body on and the side chassis plates on it says part #85404 in my box, but when I type it in @ hostile it comes up as a radio box?
center roll cage support

and I'am waiting for a parts listing for the 5T to come out so I can but the 5T body and setup to make it fit..

Nope not yet.. Now, I'am bidding on one on ebay, cause a fellow member here on the forum cannot give an answer on how much he wants too ship etc...and it has been days........:horse:

well I came into a Tiny sang with my build once again:horse: I needed those little holder for the center rollcage and the only way you can get those is if you buy a new radio box @ 45.00:mad: so, instead I making my own out of high density delrin plastic I got from work, we have tons of this stuff around that we use on the mill fixtures and it is tough as nails....so here is what I did as you can see in the pics I 'am using my #1 baja as the template..


So I made these even thicker then the HPI ones and drilled and tapped them to size and they will hold the bolts perfectly(I HOPE)

well I'am geting closer,I bought 1 1/2 engines to build, and some more parts I just need a gear plate yet...I'am thinking of getting the whole INETGY CF chassis kit since I get a discount on there parts I can buy the whole CF parts for 80 plus shipping..

Hopefully in spring, it is getting too cold now around here ,it has been in the 30's here:( and I know what happens to cold plastic and accidents.. poof= breakage..... I still need a radio yet, and some minor parts..

Matt don't ya need a 3 channel for the baja so you can run a kill switch:confused:

HUH? I do not have that on my other baja:confused::confused:that is only a 2 channel Speky setup with just a failsafe, you do not need that kill switch if you already have a failsafe...that is an ACCESSORY to me...

I have not yet since I had 5th scales, the duratrax failsafe shuts the servo back to nuetral evertime, or if you even have a low battery it will not even let the servo work it freezes it..

so here is the final pic, it is pretty colorful like a swatch watch:p

That's cool Matt,I've had a rock/pebble jam my throttle,once about halfway and once WOT and both times was able to shut it down;)Tha Duratrax FS won't stop that:(

Hi mate, nice build, very colourfull like you say, would stand out loads in a race.
With reguards to an engine kill, carson do a fail safe with an engine kill attached, so if the fail safe kicks in , it shut's the engine off, so no need for third channel and you can kill the engine anytime by just turning off your tx.
