Well just ran the EVO3 race runner for the first time and all started well, they Handel superb and even made me look good driving!!!

Then my buddy rolled his and snapped the back axle, then 5 minutes later I clipped a buggy and landed the MCD on it's side and also snapped an axle.

Is there a stronger axle available for the race runner?

I would contact them and find out what is going on. They look cast to me which doesn't cut it for this size of model.

I just looked at mine, they are breaking where the round shaft meets the hex shaft. Weak point there that looks like it can snap if hit hard enough.

im guessing this parts design has changed since my mcd was made as i cliped a wall with mine once, the force was enough to snap the rim clean off but the shaft and hubs were fine

We could have made them boring but then what would be the point in that? :)

The production part will be Pewter..

The secondary gears? Common problem, small rocks.. steel solves the problem.
Rear axle is possibly because you landed on full throttle, that can snap things in any car.

I always find it's good practice to keep spares of some parts. Has saved my waiting times for replacements quite a few times.

may as well order yourself a bunch of spare diff gears as well....you'll be needing them
