They look well used, how are the hinge pins mounts wearing??
I will be using Teflon powder in mine when I get them installed

the purple braces on the bulkhead have alot of play ( about 1/16 of play) and will be replaced soon but there's no slop or play on the arms at all. cleaned the pin slots all out today with a little wd- 40 (first time since i put them on) and they cycle and feel like they are brand new. i took a straight edge to them when i had them off the car and there wasn't a slight bend to them at all. and i've had this car 15+ ft in the air many times

On mine, I have no sign of slop in the arms the only play is from the purple pin plate on the back bulkhead of the car. which I have replaced 4 so far. I know its my product, and I am not blowing smoke. but I beat the heck out of my car, I cant even count how many tanks of gas I been threw? It gets ran all the time from sand to the desert (since I live in the desert) and in the last year I just replaced the arms not cause they were wore, but because I had my car at the RCX show. 7075 in the metal book says that it is twice as stong and 80% more likely to keep its shape. I am proud to make a quality part that will out last any part on your car. If any one has any questions PLEASE E-Mail me at jschultz@rockconcepts.net
Thanks John Schultz

I like the fact you are using 7075. Too bad not enough people know just how much more 7075 costs than 6061 they would understand that your arms are a good price..

I really dont make much on these arm, its just not exspensive it is had to find the last batch I had to waist alot of Alum to get them done. But the price for Quality.

When my Baja 5B rolls out, it will be on these arms! I have witness and filmed these Baja's with the Rock Concepts arms in all sorts of conditions and these puppies get the two thumbs ups!

In your opinion, do they look like they will bend after a viscious crash? I can replace plastic in the cheap but a bent aluminum arm is kind of pricey to swap.

I really think if you bend these, new arms will be the least of your worries :)

Is that a challange? Would you be considered a sponser driver and get free parts if I can bend them. There has not been anything made that the group of guys I bash with have not broken or bent.

I'll wait till Im in the desert. Im broke right now, have to buy TR's cups cuz I broke another stock set yesterday. Plus worout/ripped a set of tires. Oh does DDM ship APO?
VertigoPerformance
04-29-2007, 05:11 AM
I think you will find everyone ships APO and often mail to APO is REALLY quick.
If your outdrive is broke are you landing with throttle on? if so this can be a problem if one wheel hits the ground first, the other wheel picks up speed then smacks the ground hard

Ever since the first DB broke I havent been landing w/ any throttle. It broke when I used the paddles up a hill. Then one wheel spun n the other didnt.
