http://www.nomadio.net/images/react.jpgNomadio introduces the next generation of R/C controller - The React.

One hundred percent digital two-way communication utilizing frequency hopping digital spread spectrum (FHDSS) technology.
The fastest reacting R/C radio there is, Period.

For the first time, R/C enthusiasts will be able to choose a high end radio with unmatched pure digital speed at a fraction of the cost of other brands' mid-priced radios. React transmits at 100Hz which makes it the fastest reacting R/C radio made. Furthermore, Nomadio standard 100mW RF output in FHDSS conforms to world wide ISM radio regulations.

Like the Sensor by Nomadio, the React can transmit telemetry back from the car as it is driven. The React system supports "feelers" that give the driver real time feedback of the car's speed, battery voltage, and engine temperature. Unique to the RC market, the React radio system is software based; its capabilities may be altered / upgraded when it is connected to a personal computer and the Internet via the built in USB port.

Most R/C radios operate on 30 channels in the 75 MHz band. Other 2.4GHz radios are limited to fewer than 40 channels. The React system combines error-resistant spread spectrum and frequency hopping technologies, providing each radio with a unique, secure virtual channel allowing hundreds of simultaneous users.

Nomadio CEO Alex Gizis says, "The React targets both the top end racer and the back yard basher. React touts glitch-less performance of the 2.4 GHz band, unmatched speed and program flexibility not offered in other radios. The React is a top end full featured R/C controller with a mid line radio price."

KS, I am now confused, on your site you were saying that anyone mucking with the radio will have their warranty void.
Does installing the backlight really affect other areas of the radio? I would like that option on the sensor..

Sensor has a back light....

YES opening the radio voids the warranty

I believe he is putting the address for the mod out there for those that want to do it, but realize that it will still void the warranty. Some guys would rather have the backlight than the warranty.

My stock React has been trouble free.

That is exactly correct.

I guess it has been so long since I have had to used my radio I forgot it had a backlight LOL!!

I am still not completely sold on the React. I can't get over the fact that it looks like a rehashed Multiplex radio and it looks like something that Capt. James T. Kirk would be carrying into hostile environments. But the fact that it is 2.4 ghz and is FOUR channels makes it look more attractive to me.

It is the MPX case but in better colors. Heck how long have some other designs been out? And yes its looks like a Phazer but how much do you look at your radio when your racing?

Also its light weight and FAST no radio is faster it is like putting in faster servos or more cells to your servos ;)

I'm starting to love my react more and more now, just started using it to play racing games. Its almost like cheating! If your local hobby shop has one in stock ask to see it, pick it up... has to be one of the lightest radios out there. I can see this radio helping out in those long mains!

Actually, I think the Phaser look is kinda cool. I remember when the Multilex came out, it was revolutionary in shape but the colors left one feeling nauseous. I also just can't get used to the fact that you don't need to raise an antenna. It throws my "R/C" balance off and I feel vulnerable.

I was wondering if I will have any issues with digital servos. I presently use a KO Propo Helios and I like digi servos. In order to use these servos, I need to be in HRS mode. I once accidentally put it in "Normal" mode and then my servos glitched like an epileptic playing Missle Command. Have you had any of these kind of problems? Thank you.

I run all digital servos with my react, no problems what so ever. Just go into the programing and tell it that your running digital servos.

Thank you all very much. You've made my decision a little easier. Now if i can only sell my KO Propo Helios, I'd have a React soon after.

If you really want a sneak peak of what the react can do, download the react desktop. Open it up and see all the posibilities that the radio offers!
I did this before buying mine and I was not disapointed.

I haven't looked yet but was wondering if the React was Mac compatible. I have been using the Mac for years and although we have a PC laptop at home, I hate using it.

Just ordered a new React from DDM last night.. I was having glitching issues with the stock radio and the mx3... don't want to risk it..I wish it would show up before I went on vacation, but what can you do.. don't want to risk the Baja at the shore with a bad radio... My luck, it will wind up swimming with the fishies...LOL... went on the website, looks like the best radio for the money..IMO

I have the Sensor which only has about 1 extra feature over the React.
There are so many features that you may not even use them all...
One I enjoy is the antilock brakes, makes a huge difference.
There is expo and there is also throttle speed and brake speed. These affect how fast the servo moves so you can slow your servo down which can be useful in some applications.
