well i went to start up my baja today, and guess what!! its broken, when i pul the pulstart i hear a loud screaching noise, the crank berings have seized and are spinning in the holes.

its rediculous as only 2 tanks ago i replaced the whole bottem end with a new one from CY

i dont want to replace the bottom end again just to have it happen a second time. and i dont want to buy a whole new engine as i dont want to replace it with another CY / zen engine when the gbe will probbaly be relesed quite soon

so untill gbe gets thre engine out i wont be running the baja :(

You just going to replace the bearings this time? I've always like Boca bearings, maybe look to see if they do some in the right size.

i dont know yet the extent of the damage, them spinning in the hole may of damaged the caseing so a new bering wouldent be a great fit

i realy have had enough with the bottome end of this engine, the previous bottem end it had the berings wore out and there was 5mm of play up and down. now this has happened, im jst a bit tired of fixing CY c**p

what i do with it realy depends on how long it will be for the gbe engines to arive, if there gona get relesed this side of summer then i will wait, if not then i supose i will either rebuild the bottem end again or just get a complete engine from ddm
