Leaded race gas here is cheaper then high octane at the pump! I still have friends that run 121 octane in their race cars.

I think they should ban lawnmowers, they polute more then any car on the road.

Many grass root forms of racing still run leaded fuel all over the world, it comes down to bang for the buck. As I said I can get 121 octane leaded cheaper then I can get 98. (or what ever our high octane is)

If this law does pass, Canada will lose some tracks.

Sorry I posted this up, I'm an old grass roots racer... have many friends still racing. And this just pisses me off knowing that "they" want to get rid of racing in Canada! We lose tracks all the time because people move next door or down the road... and next thing you know they complain about the noise... so the track gets shut down. YOU KNOW YOUR MOVING NEXT TO A RACE TRACK!

Just pisses me off, ok enough of my rant

thanks milkman, its not my petition. I'm just trying my best to get as many people to sign it! My guess if it does get banned that people will switch to alky... that is untill to many people get injured or worst die... then they will look at going back.

I know the stuff is bad for the eniviroment and all... but I love the smell!

anyways, just hope that racers will be able to buy another cheap high octane fuel.

Many of us run unleaded but still there are many who don't. We should all care for our environment friendliness and we should prove it...and i think there should be strict rules on this, to let others know believe that we really care about the environment and thus we can flourish our beloved sports.
