Vertigo Performance

We have been working on development of a steel Vented clutch bell.
After some hard testing in the sand today there was no sand inside the bell at all. We expected the venting to work however not to this level.

Photo taken immediately after the bell was removed will be uploaded tomorrow.

If further testing proves to be as good as we hope expect these on the store shelves end of November
Retail $34.95

Photos after 40 minutes use in the sand. I have never had a clutch or bell this clean. The sand you see is what is piled up in the pods.

Update, VPP1651 Vented bell is really holding it's own with usage.
Look for these at your LHS or online dealer before Christmas.

I took a photo of what the car looked like after another 50 minutes of use. Bear in mind the last time out (40 min) in the sand there was no dirt in the bell so essentially this is a 90 minute sand/water bash that has resulted in these photos. The dust you see is clutch dust which I believe I have it set too low so the clutch is slipping before engagement, should it be adjusted correctly I suspect no dust would be visible.
This week we get out with the stock clutch and really see the results.

The bell is working very nice, we have been lucky enough to have someone from a major RC Manufacture pounding on our bells in the deep rooted dunes of California. We are happy with our results that I have been getting, once we receive more results from our R&D team we should have this out on the Market. $34.95 for the Vented bell.

I'm also running the bell, and it is doing everything that it was designed to do. Keep out sand and dirt, run true, and well...look good!! :D

We just got back our final test results, testing in the dunes of CA.
We are now setting them inline for production, I would say with Christmas coming not until the second week of January. It was important that we be sure the venting kept dirt out.
